Chlamydia
Chlamydia are Gram negative bacteria that live inside cells. After invading
the host they attach to the cells and then move inside them where they
multiply. Chlamydia spread through the bloodstream. The most common
species are Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia pneumonia.
Chlamydia trachomatis is the most common bacteria which cause infections of female reproductive system, infertility and some problems with pregnancy. It causes dangerous sexually transmitted disease called Chlamydia infection which is the leading cause of infectious blindness in the world.
